Bopp tape jumbo rolls consist of BOPP film and a water-based acrylic adhesive layer. The adhesive's performance is highly susceptible to changes in ambient humidity and temperature; incorrect storage conditions can cause the tape to fail.

1. Moisture and humidity control are crucial

The adhesive in BOPP tape is extremely sensitive to moisture. If stored in a humid environment, the adhesive layer will absorb moisture, causing a decrease in adhesive viscosity and leading to problems such as delamination and bubbling. Therefore, the storage environment must be kept dry to prevent the tape from absorbing moisture.

2. Temperature and Light Control

This tape should be stored in a cool, dark place, avoiding direct sunlight. Ultraviolet rays in strong light will accelerate the aging of the adhesive layer, leading to decreased adhesion. The recommended storage temperature is approximately 25℃±2℃, and the humidity is within the range of 55%±5% to maintain the tape's optimal physical properties.

3. Dust Prevention and Cleanliness

Tape rolls are usually large spools and should be stored in a clean warehouse or on a dedicated storage rack. Dust and impurities may adhere to the tape surface, affecting its adhesive performance during use. Therefore, maintaining a clean storage environment is equally important.
